Generally a more chilled night out, with a smaller selection of restaurants, pubs and bars to choose between than some of the other local resorts, but as pints are still available at €5, who's complaining?

Bars in La Tania

A local favourite hangout is Pub Le Ski Lodge, which offers live bands and an animated atmosphere throughout the night. Sport fanatics can also enjoy the major events on a big screen. Telemark Bar and Bistro offers an après ski bar featuring live music, comedy nights, big screen TVs and a range of quality wines, beers, cocktails and shooters until 1am nightly. If you fancy a more upmarket night out, La Taiga offers a wide selection of cocktails amidst a very lively atmosphere and newly opened Chrome Bar promises to be a great hit.

Dining out in La Tania

Pub Le Ski Lodge offers immense helpings of pub food at great value for money (with a range of pies, salads, burgers, steaks, pasta and curries on offer) and Telemark Bar and Bistro offers a varied and quality selection of food (menus are updated monthly). For amazing, local Savoyarde cuisine try out La Taiga, or there's always Le Farçon, La Tania's very own the michelin star restaurant. Alternatively, should you not fancy leaving the comfort of the chalet there is always the option of a takeaway pizza or Indian!

Further Afield

Courchevel 1850 has a very lively nightlife with plenty of bars, restaurants and clubs on offer until the early hours of the morning, however it tends to be relatively pricey with pint prices escalating to €14 (yes thats £10!). Although it is often overcrowded and a bit of an eyesore, it's pretty close and so worth the effort if you fancy a good night out (albeit by French standards!).

Les Caves is a nightclub rated by tourists, locals and celebrities (not for those on a budget!), Le Milk Pub is a trendy underground après ski bar with live music and Le Kalico is a rather popular bar which is very busy until the early hours. There is an extensive range of other pubs, bars and restaurants available too. 

Buses run until 23.40pm and information on taxi firms and bus timetables can be found in the tourist office.
