To avoid the queues and ensure you hit the slopes early on your first day, we can arrange to have lift passes ready for you on your arrival. Just inform us when booking.
There is an extensive variety of lift pass options available.
- The complete ‘Trois Vallées’ pass is recommended for most skiers and boarders and allows access to Courchevel 1550, 1650 and 1850, La Tania, Le Praz, and additional entry to Méribel, Les Menuires, Saint Martin de Belleville and Val Thorens.
- Alternatively, there are ‘Courchevel’ passes available, giving access to Courchevel 1550, 1650, 1850, La Tania and Le Praz. This is ideal for those learning to ski or for short breaks and can be upgraded to ‘Le Trois Vallées’ daily should you wish to venture further.
- For beginners, there are a few free lifts ideal for practising on, one of which (Troika) lies in La Tania village.
Ski passes can be purchased in the lift offices next to the gondola station in the village. In 2005, the ski pass system was upgraded to an electronic one, meaning ski passes never have to leave the confines of a pocket so there is less chance of losing it! You can now purchase your ski-pass in advance on line here at s3v to avoid queues at the lift station! (There is an initial €3 surcharge for the first time you purchase a pass online).
Keep an eye out for deals for families, early and late season passes, beginners, pedestrian passes and season passes. (Very young children and energetic seniors (75+) are entitled to free lift passes).
Courchevel have introduced a three hour pass, meaning lie-ins (no pressure to be out for three hours before 12.30) and short ski sessions or trips just to sample mountain restaurants are a possibility without feeling guilty about wasting a full day lift pass by not skiing!
