The facilities available within the chalet are for your enjoyment and safety and to ensure that the chalet is kept at the same standard for all our guests, we ask you to kindly follow our housekeeping requirements.
Health and Safety
Your safety is our prime consideration whilst in La Tania, please will you familiarise yourself and others within your party on Fire Risks and take extra care when accessing the boot room and top floor bedrooms.
It is your responsibility to ensure that all guests are aware of evacuation procedures and know what to do in the case of an emergency.
Please take extra care when walking outside on paths around the Chalet as they are often covered with ice and snow and can be very slippery.

Your chalet is accessed by key code – they are on all main access doors and your key code would have been provided prior to your arrival. If you have forgotten your code or you should have any difficulties, please call us on one of the above numbers.
Please ensure that all French doors and windows are securely locked if you are leaving the chalet unattended.
What is Included
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, your chalet will be made up and ready to occupy, we will provide linen, towels and your bedrooms will be prepared and beds made. Final cleaning is also included in our quoted prices.
We can usually provide cots, high chairs and baby baths, which we will do free of charge and subject to availability. You are however required to provide your own Baby Bedding.
In the event of a chalet being left in an unacceptable state of cleanliness (beyond the normal day to day post chalet cleaning), we reserve the right to charge for additional cleaning at a rate of €30 per hour.
On arrival, please check the chalet and report any problems or damages to us within 12 hours of your arrival, otherwise the Chalet will be considered to be in good order.
This is strongly recommended in order to avoid any possibility of being charged for damage caused by previous guests.
Drying of clothes on radiators is strictly prohibited within the chalet as this poses a severe risk of fire.
Heating and Electricity
During periods of absence from the chalet during the day, please lower the thermostat, close all windows, turn off radiators, hot plates in the kitchen and any lights.
Within the chalet there is a purpose built heated ski locker room with access to the outside. Please use this when exiting and re-entering the chalet with skiing equipment.
Please do not bring any ski-equipment (boots, skis etc) into the chalet living quarters as they can easily cause damage (and mess!!)
Arrival and Departure Information
Your chalet will not normally be available until 16.00hrs. We will however We would respectfully request you vacate the Chalet by 10am. Please would you inform us of your departure time in order that we can organise cleaning and chalet checks.
To ensure that all guests enjoy their stay with us the highest standard we ask you on departure:
- Empty the dishwasher
- Put away all cutlery and crockery
- Leave any leftover food and supplies on the work surface beside the sink.
- Mattress covers to remain on beds. (Except in the case of accidents, please inform us)
- Duvets and blankets should left on beds
- Please take linen off beds and leave with towels on the floor of each room
Please turn off lights, close all windows and throw rubbish into the bin areas provided.
A security deposit may be required against potential or should the chalet be left in an unacceptable state of cleanliness.
If we require a deposit, it will be refunded following your departure in order to indemnify any damage and/or organise quotes for any significant repairs.
If we require a security deposit, it will be clearly identified on your booking confirmation as an extra.
Bookings and Cancellation
We will confirm your booking and send you a confirmation invoice and request for deposit.
We would respectfully request that your deposit is paid within 4 working days of receipt.
In the event of you cancelling your stay within 16 weeks of departure date, your deposit will be forfeit and non-returnable.
